American reality TV star Kylie Jenner retracted her post on the Instagram platform, in which she defended the Israeli people against the military actions taking place between the Palestinian Hamas movement and Israel.
Jenner posted a story on her account for the Israeli flag with the text: “Now and always, we stand with the people of Israel!”
After that, I deleted the post following a wave of criticism and negative comments on most social media platforms that re-shared the post.
A large number of social media users reacted negatively to the post, such as one of them who wrote: “How can you call yourself an ‘influencer’ when you are influenced by some of your fans? You prefer dollars over moral awareness.”
Another commented: “I wish you would be a little more educated instead of sharing stupid posts!”
Although Kylie deleted the story from Instagram, comments continued to appear on her posts. One of them wrote: “Do not get involved in politics and say that you support Israel. Palestine has been suffering for a long time.”
Some posted Palestinian flags, while others called for unfollowing them.
