Kylie Jenner has never hesitated to change her seem. In particular, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is constantly changing her hair color and nails. Thanks to her enormous influence (the reality TV star has 240.7 million followers on Instagram alone), Jenner constantly encourages her supporters with her various appear to be. But even some of her most loyal followers aren’t feeling the new nails she recently debuted on Instagram.
For years Jenner has been known for her exaggerated nail designs. She is constantly changing the shape and color of her nails and loves to show off extremely intricate designs. In fact, the new mom even collaborated with nail polish company Sinful Hues in 2016 and created her own selection of unique colors.

“Well, I love my nails, it’s always been my thing,” Jenner told Glamor British Isles in 2016, while she was marketing the aforementioned collaboration. “I have the impression that all my lovers – my true lovers – know me and love that I explore nail artwork and have fun with it. But Sinful Hues – I love their ideas, I feel like they’re very innovative, and I love their colors, so I just thought it was like a perfect match!

While the Kylie Cosmetics founder may have felt her collaboration with Sinful Shades was perfect, many Jenner followers think her latest manicure is anything but. On June 12, 2021, Jenner showed off her latest manicure to her Instagram followers. The large, rectangular moreover nails feature a clear orange polish and transparent overlapping bubbles, creating a 3D effect.

By the second of this write-up, Jenner’s Instagram post showing her new nails received 5.3 million likes and over 44,000 comments. Not all of Jenner’s nail reviews are positive, however. In fact, a lot of people find the reality TV star’s latest manicure a little off-putting, and they don’t hesitate to voice their opinions.

“Looks like an invasive brilliant fungal infection,” one person wrote about Jenner’s nails in the comments portion of her short article. “God, it’s herpes, someone busted this virus ewww,” another wrote in agreement. “I was thinking about shingles,” added another person. “Yes, they look like warts,” wrote another lover.
Jenner’s nails are very polarizing for her followers
Of course, not everyone had negative things to say about Jenner’s nails. Some people felt that the layout was inspired by nature. “It looks like raindrops on my nails to me,” one person explained. Other people seemed to be wondering how Jenner even came up with ideas for some of her nail design ideas. “I wonder if she goes to the living room and says’ Yes, hello, I want some songs [of] large [sic] drops of glue on my nail beds today. Obviously, Jenner’s new nails sparked quite a bit of conversation. But given that she changes them so frequently, we doubt she’ll let the review affect her if she sees it.
