American reality star Kylie Jenner gives the impression on Instagram that she is posing with a bare upper body. ‘Free the nipple’ it says in the caption next to the photo of ‘her’ bosom. But if you look closely, you will see that she is indeed wearing something: a bikini with a nipple print.

That proves Kylie Jenner, who pushes the limits of the Instagram rules in a nipple print bikini. Her millions of followers therefore do not see real breasts on the image, but they are confronted with the facts: Instagram clearly does not recognize photos of a printed lush bust as real breasts.
Kylie posted the photo on Sunday and to date it has not been removed. Jenners free the nipplemission has been accomplished for the time being. The entire movement not to censor nipples on Instagram has been around since 2014. The movement’s focus is on gender equality: if men can post a picture of a naked torso, so should women. The slogan ‘free the nipple’ was conceived by activist and filmmaker Lina Esco and fights against this double standard.
