Kylian Mbappe failed to score in the win Paris Saint Germain over Marseille 2-0. However, Mbappe grabbed the spotlight because of his reaction when he was pulled off.
Mbappe was replaced by Goncalo Ramos in the second half PSG leading by one goal in the match at the Orange Velodrome, Monday (1/4) early morning WIB. The French football superstar was caught on television responding to the decision with displeasure.
Mbappe rolled his eyes then said something as he walked towards the edge of the field. Some said Mbappe cursed at the coach Luis Enrique. This is the fifth time Mbappe has not played a full game in PSG’s last eight matches, since news of the player’s departure emerged in February.
In the end, the change proved to be successful. Goncalo Ramos broke into Marseille’s goal in the final minutes which also secured L’s victoryare Parisians.
Luis Enrique responds to the noise regarding Mbappe’s replacement. The former coach of AS Roma, Barcelona and the Spanish national team emphasized that this was solely his decision in the match.
“It’s always like this, every week. It’s tiring. I’m the coach, I make decisions every day and that’s what I’ll continue to do until my last day at PSG. I always try to find the best solution for Paris. Sometimes I’m wrong, but that’s it my choice,” he said.
After the match, Kylian Mbappe uploaded a photo full of enigmas on his Instagram account @k.mbappe. The photo itself shows Mbappe from the back. Some media interpreted that this was the player’s last appearance at The classic before moving to Real Madrid next summer.
