Paris Saint-Germain does not rest: Now superstar Kylian Mbappé has publicly criticized his club on social media after he published a video on Thursday to launch the season ticket campaign for the coming season. It only shows Mbappé with young players from the club – without Neymar and Messi.
“I have just seen the club’s season ticket campaign for the 2023/2024 season. At no time was I informed of the content of the conversation with my interlocutor,” Mbappé announced in a message that he published on his Insta story.
“It looked like a simple interview at a club marketing day. I don’t agree with this released video. That’s why I’m fighting for my individual image rights. PSG are a great club and a great family, but it’s definitely not Kylian Saint-Germain,” explained the 24-year-old continues.
Mbappé, who is repeatedly said to have a certain penchant for ego trips, does not denounce the absence or presence of certain players in this subscription campaign, but his statements as the sole representative of the ticket campaign – without having been privy to what it was used for become.
“The atmosphere, the space, the mood… The Parc des Princes envelops many things, he’s the 12th man, that’s what gives us an extra power to fight our battles. Being Parisian means pride To be proud of who you are, of what you represent, to be ambitious, to want to achieve things, to have a will to win, to always excel and never to forget where you come from,” stressed Mbappé in that published video.
Mbappé and PSG: Why are Messi and Neymar missing from the video?
Mbappé still has a contract with PSG until 2025, but recently there have been rumors of an early departure. Meanwhile, the absence of Neymar and Lionel Messi from the campaign could be a hidden hint of a summer farewell.
