French star Kylian Mbappé, a Paris Saint-Germain player, expressed his lack of the privilege of playing alongside Lionel Messi, the American Inter Miami star and Barcelona legend, since the latter’s departure from the “Parc des Princes.”
Kylian Mbappé played alongside Lionel Messi for two seasons at PSG, before the Argentine star left PSG in the summer of 2023 for free to Inter Miami after his contract expired.
Mbappe said in statements published by the platform:Amazon Prime Video“I miss very much playing next to an exceptional player like Lionel Messi. For a striker like me who loves space, I go out with complete confidence that the ball will reach me through him.”

Kylian added: “Playing next to Messi was a luxury and an advantage that almost no one else can give you.”
Messi had met Mbappe face to face in the final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, and the Argentine national team captain was able to win the Gold Cup for his country, after defeating France on penalties (4-2), in a match whose regular and extra time ended in a tie (3-3).
Press reports indicate that Mbappe (25 years old) will expire his contract with the Parisian club next June, and he has not yet decided his next destination, whether to continue or leave, despite many reports linking his name to Real Madrid.
