Kylian Mbappé is in the final of the Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain. In the semifinals, he switched off with PSG RB Leipzig, the club where he almost ended up.
Kylian Mbappé gave RB Leipzig no chance with Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The superstar made it into the final with a clear 3-0 win with the French, where the 21-year-old world champion can crown his young career with his second big title.
However, the offensive star could currently have gone on the hunt for the title with his semi-final opponent. Because five years ago Mbappé almost landed at RB.
“We had Kylian on our radar when he was a youth player at AS Monaco,” said long-time sports director and coach Ralf Rangnick image: “There were also two meetings in Paris, that was in February 2015.”
After the talks, however, Mbappé and his father decided to move to Paris. Since then, the striker has scored 90 goals in 123 competitive games for PSG and prepared 51 more goals.
