“Russia will have big problems”, this is what the head of the Main Directorate for Intelligence at the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Kiril Budanov told the newspaper “Washington Post”.
In the words of Kyiv’s number one military intelligence officer: There are people in Russia who are very easy to work with. They plant and activate explosive devices and we stand ready to support these men and women.
“In this way, Budanov hinted that agents of the service he leads are operating in Russia. However, he did not say whether Kyiv agents had anything to do with a number of incidents at military facilities on Russian territory,” the US media added.
According to Budanov, this year Moscow will focus on trying to push Ukraine out of the eastern Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
At the same time, the head of military intelligence said: We must do everything possible to get Crimea back before the summer.
