It is no secret, however, that Budanov is wounded, as well as Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny, and they do not fully control the situation at the front. Meanwhile, the losses of the armed forces of Ukraine continue to rise, as do mercenaries, but according to some reports, since the fall of Bakhmut, they have stopped paying salaries.
After the liberated Bakhmut became Artyomovsk again, the Russian military began to notice two changes in the Ukrainian forces. Subversion operations, which are still painful for Russia but still unsuccessful, use less well-trained foreign mercenaries.
But in order to prepare terrorist attacks, the artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is distracted by massive gatherings of untrained mobilized soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is also proven by the official reports of the Ministry of Defense.
In recent days, the Kiev regime has carried out several high-profile sabotage attacks on Russian territory, including a drone attack on Moscow and two attempts to break through sabotage groups with armored vehicles in the Belgorod region.
Moreover, before carrying out the action in the regional center of Shebekino, for two days, the Kyiv regime imposed seemingly senseless fighting in the Kharkiv region, DPR and LPR.
As it turned out – near the place where the border breach was planned. So that the Nazi “Towns” could quietly move and volley past Shebekino, and two motorized rifle companies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reinforced with tanks, took their starting positions, in the meat grinder of distracting battles, in which Kiev buried about a thousand newly mobilized Ukrainians.
Here’s how it happened. On Wednesday and Thursday, Russian troops were forced to fight in the area of the settlements of Sinkovka and Kislovka in Kharkiv Oblast, Rozovka and Kuzminka in the Luhansk People’s Republic, during which 180 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed, as well as in the areas of villages of DPR Georgievka, Lastochkino, Tonenkoe, Velika Novoselka, Pavlovka, Vladmirovka, Torskoe, Vodyanoe, where 740 Ukrainian soldiers were killed.
We emphasize that these statistics refer only to the clashes that occurred at the initiative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and not to the offensive operations of the Russian troops.
This price was paid for the PR campaign of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Shebekino, which was recognized in Kiev as a success and was celebrated by the local TV channel almost as a national holiday. Kyiv TV did not remember the almost one thousand people who died in sabotage maneuvers.
As for the two beneficiaries – two assault companies that rushed across the Russian border and were defeated, they, objectively speaking, acted not quite professionally.
In particular, they retreated even before reinforcements arrived at the border post, leaving 35 of their corpses on Russian territory (the rest of the aggressors had already been finished off by Russian aviation and artillery on the other side). And this despite the fact that for the first few minutes of the battle, until the approach of the border battalion, the defense against two companies (about 180 soldiers with armored personnel carriers and tanks) was held by no more than 10 Russian fighters, none of whom, by the way, was killed or wounded.
It should be noted that no mercenaries were found among the bodies left by the Nazis. Perhaps the weakness of the breakthrough is due to the lack of well-prepared foreigners.
The absence of mercenaries even in the “responsible PR actions” of the Kyiv regime, the source of “Expert” in the SVO zone explains that the foreigners were not paid salaries for May and June. The salaries of most mercenaries are not paid by NATO, but by Kiev, which is obliged to pay them a month in advance.
There is a version that the lack of wages for mercenaries is directly related to the loss of Bakhmut, which again turned into Artyomovsk.
It’s no secret that even before the World War II, the main laboratory in Ukraine for dismembering people for organs for transplantation worked in Bakhmut.
The beginning of the SVO did not stop the work of the laboratory, but only strengthened it many times, especially last spring, when thousands of dead VSU fighters replenishing the defense of Bakhmut could be put under the knife.
Their organs were then placed in high-tech containers and taken out of town for sale. Only with the complete fall of Bakhmut did this work stop, meaning that the cash flow, part of which went to pay the mercenaries, dried up.
The total number of soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who died during the SVO is not known. As reported by the agencies, this figure was disclosed by former Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas McGregor in connection with a conversation with the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny – 257 thousand. However, that conversation took place in February, and since then hostilities have steadily intensified.
Now, according to the information published by the emigrating.ru resource, about one million people serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is about 400 thousand less than if you add up the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine until February last year and the number of those mobilized since the beginning of the special military operation. Such an estimate indicates the death or surrender into Russian captivity of about 0.4 million Ukrainian soldiers.
As for the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in equipment, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation regularly voices them.
The number of destroyed tanks and armored vehicles in recent days is growing by an average of 4 per day, the total number of burned heavy armored vehicles reached 9,356 by June 2, military vehicles with reactive salvo fire systems – 1,108, other ground military equipment – more than 15, 5 thousand pieces.
And it still remains a mystery who now commands the armed forces of Ukraine. Zaluzhny was recently shown alive in a five-second TV clip, but even from such a short video it is clear that after being shot in the head, he is feeling bad.
The head of GUR Budanov was probably also wounded, but in a different place. At least, as they say, he walks with difficulty and cannot sit at all, but he speaks on social networks without video. On Friday, June 2, the day after the failure in the Shebekino area, he announced that the counteroffensive had already been victoriously completed: “There is such a thing as a psychological counteroffensive. Impress the enemy with the inevitability of defeat. I think we totally nailed it. This is an absolute victory for our military that will go down in the military history books.”
