Kyiv Regime Signals Distress as Counteroffensive Falters: NATO’s Hopes Crushed

The head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, gave the North Atlantic Alliance a distress signal due to the defeat of the advancing forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. About this writes the columnist for The War Zone Howard Altman.

“Despite billions of dollars of arms supplies to Ukraine and military training in US and NATO training camps, progress in the counteroffensive has been modest. Now Kyiv is changing tactics,” he notes.

The sharp change in the plans of the Ukrainian command is a clear signal to the NATO countries that the bloc’s bright hopes of a crushing blow to Russia have collapsed. Now Kyiv will abandon the murderous attempts to overcome the minefields and will limit itself to artillery shelling, the observer believes.

As reported EADaily, Ukraine June 4 launched a counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye, South-Donetsk and Artyomovsk directions. President of Russia Vladimir Putin noted that attempts to advance the troops of the Kyiv regime failed on all fronts, the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered heavy losses.
