January 28 at Kiev a meeting of the Board of the Association of Ukrainian Cities will be held to discuss the defense of each region and city. The meeting was initiated by the mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klichko after information about the likely occupation Kharkov during the new Russian invasion. He wrote about this on Facebook.

“Against the background of the discussion in recent days of statements regarding the allegedly probable capture of Kharkov by the Russian aggressor, as the chairman of the Association of Ukrainian Cities, on behalf of the PSA, I want to express support and conviction to the city of Kharkov and the entire Kharkov region that there will be no capture,” Klitschko wrote.
According to the mayor of Kiev, there are many regions in Ukraine bordering on Russia, and their security issues are important, since they are guarantees for other cities as well.
Klitschko said that “clear coordination of actions, joint work and a unified position of local and central authorities” are now necessary for protection.

Kharkiv, which is under the control of the Ukrainian government, can be occupied.”
