“It’s been an incredibly challenging year for Kyiv. According to Serhiy Popko, the head of the capital’s military governance, the city faced over 500 air raid alerts, with 200 confirmed airstrikes. That’s nearly one attack every other day.
While the frequency of large-scale assaults may have decreased compared to the initial invasion, the threat remained very real. These were not just random strikes. Russia employed a wide range of weaponry, including drones, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and even hypersonic missiles, demonstrating a deliberate and calculated attempt to inflict damage and sow terror.”
