Ukraine turned to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for help in organizing a meeting of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was stated by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Igor Zhovkva on the air of the program daily News German TV channel ARD.
According to Zhovkva, international partners should help organize this meeting, during which “many aspects could be discussed.”
Previously it was reported that Zelensky during a personal meeting with Putin would urge him to end the war.
