Kvitová’s pink team turned from 1-5 to 6-5, but in the end the Plíšková black team also won in Prostějov

They clashed in today’s opening singles Kateřina Siniaková a Kristýna Plíšková and unlike the 18-day-old clay match in Štvanice, the former had the upper hand. “I forced my game on her a bit and I appreciate that,” Siniaková told O2 TV. “It’s great that we’re pulling down and fighting to the last balloon,” said the 54th player in the world.

During the first match, the 26th player in the world, Muchová, swapped her, but during the second she sent a backhand to the car. “I’m very happy, because Karolína just plays well. She has a very unpleasant style and I’m glad that I was able to win it,” said Krejčíková.

Every day of the tournament, there are always three singles and one doubles. Individual duels cannot be repeated during one tournament, which in practice means that different opponents will compete against each other every day. Beginnings are scheduled for noon.

The tournament will return to Štvanice after the end of the Prostějov competition, where it will be played from 11 to 13 July and from 25 to 27 July. There, 14 days ago, the team of the Czech number one Karolína Plíšková triumphed, then with a ratio of 7-4.

Each played steak will be awarded fifty crowns from the organizer, which will then be doubled by the Tipsport Foundation. The winning team will receive a check throughout the series with the amount they donate to charity at their own discretion.
