‘KV Mechelen promises popular: interest from Deventer, Helmond and Enschede’

The promises team of KV Mechen could just deliver two players to the Eredivisie and the Kitchen Champion Division. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, there is interest in 21-year-old attacker Mo Zeroual and his teammate Angelos Kotsopoulos, two years younger.

Zeroual played in the past for Belgian youth teams, but may leave in 2020 transfer-free at reigning cup winner KV Mechelen. The 1.66-meter attacker was on the bench during two important games – the promotion match against Beerschot and the Supercup duel with Racing Genk – but was unable to make his debut for the main force. According to HLN, Zeroual is already in talks with fallen superpower RWDM, but there is also interest from Go Ahead Eagles and Helmond Sport.

The Eredivisie even beckons for teammate Kotsopoulos: FC Twente is interested in the nineteen-year-old striker from Greece, who is also allowed to leave transfer-free at The Bakers. Kotsopoulos came over from Asteras Tripoli from his native country at the end of August, but has only made minutes on behalf of KV Mechelen’s promises.
