Ukraine has counted the number of deaths after COVID vaccination

The doctor cited statistics on the number of adverse cases after an injection of one or another COVID vaccine since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in Ukraine.
In Ukraine, 124 people died within a month after being vaccinated against coronavirus. All cases have been investigated. This was stated by the chief sanitary doctor Igor Kuzin, reported press service of the Ministry of Health.
According to the doctor, vaccination is not the cause of death of patients.
“I emphasize separately that we are not talking about a causal relationship with vaccination. All completed investigations did not reveal a connection with vaccination,” Kuzin said.
He added that in such situations, we are talking about the individual response of a person to the drug. “And the reaction can be to any vaccine, not only from Covid-19,” the doctor said.
At the same time, Kuzin cited statistics on the number of adverse cases after an injection of one or another COVID vaccine since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in Ukraine:

CoviShield – 0.02% of cases (of the total number of reported adverse events after vaccination);

CoronaVac – 0.08%;

Pfizer – 0,01%,

AstraZeneca – 0,02%,

Modern – 0.01-0.02%.
In general, the sanitary doctor noted, 0.018% of Ukrainians from the total number of vaccinated people have adverse events after immunization, but most of the cases are not serious.
Finally, Kuzin recalled that vaccination is the most effective means of protecting against coronavirus infection and contributes to the easier course of the disease if it occurs.
“98-99% of those in intensive care units are unvaccinated,” he stressed.
We will remind, in Ukraine, one dose of vaccine against coronavirus received 12 228 642 people, two – 8 722 235 inhabitants of the country. A total of 20,950,877 vaccinations were carried out.
