A local newspaper reported that the Cabinet meeting decided to entrust the General Authority with the task of distributing 100,000 copies of the Holy Quran as per Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al Ahmad Jaber Sabah. Distribution of 100,000 copies of the Noble Qur’an translated into Swedish in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this regard.

The Cabinet confirmed in its weekly statement that such campaigns are aimed at emphasizing the tolerance of the Islamic religion, spreading Islamic principles and values, good co-existence among all human beings and highlighting the aspects of an atmosphere of love, tolerance and peace. The meeting also emphasized on rejecting feelings of compassion, hatred, extremism and religious fanaticism
