After the Syrian restaurant manager broke his silence with a story that completely contradicted the words of the Kuwaiti tourist who was attacked in Turkey a few days ago, the latter responded again.
He refutes the words of the restaurant owner!
Tourist Muhammad Rashid Al-Ajmi, who arrived in his country after completing his treatment following an attack in the Turkish city of Trabzon due to a problem in a restaurant, confirmed that the story presented by the Syrian restaurant manager, Muhammad Al-Raziq, was incorrect.
Al-Razeeq also challenged and demanded the disclosure of the surveillance camera footage that recorded the incident, stressing that he did not direct any insults or insults to the Syrians.
He confirmed in an interview with the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas that the restaurant manager said that the tourist had no children with him, while his daughter was 10 years old.
The man explained that he received great support during the past days, after he was beaten in Turkey by 10 people, which left him in a coma and a head injury. He revealed that he suffered broken teeth and a blow to his head that damaged his eyesight due to the accident.
In addition, he stressed that he was mistreated by the Turkish police.
This came after the restaurant manager appeared yesterday, Tuesday, and said that the Kuwaiti tourist’s words were inaccurate, and that the tourist shouted at the waiter when he asked him to adhere to the store’s policy, and the matter developed into screaming and insulting the Syrian workers there.
The man also refused to pay his bill and went out into the street screaming. He pointed out that the Kuwaiti stood in the middle of the people and shouted, “Police, police,” then extended his hand to a policeman who refused to shake his hand. He spoke inappropriately to the security man, and continued “screaming and insulting people and accusing the Turks of racism,” until a young man heard him and hit him and he fell to the ground.
Widespread controversy
It is noteworthy that the case of the Kuwaiti tourist who was beaten in Turkey had caused widespread controversy during the past days.
The Trabzon Governor’s Office issued a statement about the details of the incident, announcing the arrest of the accused of assaulting the tourist, noting that the reason behind the incident was a “misunderstanding.”
While the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Minister Salem Abdullah Al-Sabah phoned the citizen “to check on him and determine his health condition” and the care he is receiving in the hospital.
It also affirmed Kuwait’s rejection of such attacks, but indicated that the Turkish authorities had taken the necessary measures against the aggressor, with continuous follow-up from the Kuwaiti Embassy in Ankara.
