Kuwait City: Kuwaiti players are hopeful for the World Para Athletics Championship that started in Paris. 1,200 athletes from 107 countries, including Kuwait, will compete in the championship, where Kuwaiti athletes will compete in various events. The Kuwait team, led by Nasser Al Ajmi, consists of seven players.
They arrived in Paris after finishing their tour in Turkey ahead of the tournament. The match will be played at Charleti Stadium. The Kuwaiti champions include Faisal Al Rajhi, Abdullah Al Inesi (wheelchair racing), Yasser Al Mislem, Faisal Sroor, Abdullah Al Saleh, Hamad Haji and Nasser Faraj (shot put, discus throw).
