Kuwaiti Fashionista Rawan Bint Hussein Apologizes to Saudi People for Controversial Video

Al-Marsad newspaper: Kuwaiti fashionista Rawan Bint Hussein apologized to the Saudi people for the video she published of her dancing to songs with the Iranian flag behind her.

Rawan said: “The Saudi public is my number one audience. For 6 years, I have spoken about a topic and appeared in many interviews, and I say that it is not shameful for someone to make a mistake, but it is shameful for someone to make a mistake and apologizing is the same as adults.”

She added: “I came out and said that I upset a large segment of people, and I entered into a topic that I do not understand and that I am older than me due to my recklessness, young age, and stupidity.”

She continued: “Is it possible for me to be in a situation after 6 years where I am insulted for a mistake I made and apologized for on more than one occasion and in official photos?”

She continued: “My relationship with the Saudi people is not a famous relationship with the public, but it is a relationship of kinship and kinship, and my aunt and sister are Saudi.”

She continued: Saudi Arabia is my family and my audience, because we, as Kuwaitis, were raised to love Saudi Arabia and we are brothers and together on good days and bad days.

She added: I got over the issue and apologized a million times for it, and I spent a month posting Iranian songs on Snapchat. Why did the video provoke and support people?

She concluded: I have nothing to do with the political relationship between Iran and any other country, nor am I a diplomat or a politician. Is it reasonable that I work to make my name clean and great, and then come and destroy it in an instant?
