Kuwait to Host Palestine vs Australia Match for 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup Qualifiers

The Kuwaiti Federation announced that it will host the Palestine national team’s match against Australia as part of the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

The Kuwaiti Federation announced that it will host the Palestine national team’s match against Australia as part of the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

This comes after the Algerian Federation’s request to host the Palestine national team’s matches in light of the current events in the country.

The Palestine-Australia match will be held at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium on November 21, according to the Kuwaiti Federation.

The Kuwaiti Federation revealed that it had received “the Asian Confederation’s approval to host the Palestine-Australia match, out of support and solidarity with the Palestinian team, which the current circumstances prevent from playing on its territory and among its fans.”

Jibril Rajoub, head of the Palestinian Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, had previously announced the suspension of local activities for all competitions due to the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian team is scheduled to be a guest of its Lebanese counterpart in the first round of the qualifiers on November 16.

He will host Australia in the third round on the 21st of the same month.

The Palestinian team is in the ninth group of the double qualifiers, along with Australia, Lebanon and Bangladesh.
