Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Kuwaiti Criminal Court has handed down the death sentence to an Egyptian expatriate, a teacher of Islamic education, accused of sexually assaulting dozens of children in Farwaniya and Khaitan regions.
The accused committed dozens of child abuse crimes over the course of 3 months and was identified through one of his victims, an 8-year-old Pakistani boy, and after his father found out about the crime, he informed the Ministry of Interior of the accident.
Investigations revealed that the defendant entered the country 9 years ago and works for the Ministry of Education in a middle school in Jahra. The statements of the boys who recognized him after discovering his crimes.
The investigations concluded that all of the accused’s victims were expatriates, including: Egyptians, Lebanese, Indians, Pakistanis and others of other nationalities, and their ages ranged between 7 and 12 years old, according to Al-Qabas.
During the investigation, the defendant confessed to his crimes, pointing out that he used to lure the children separately in secluded buildings or on the stairways of mansions and sexually assaulted them under threat, then left the place and fled to where he came from.
