Kuwait Coast Guard arrests drug smugglers trying to bring 40 kilograms of hashish oil into Kuwait

Kuwait City: The Coast Guard arrested the suspects who tried to smuggle a large amount of hashish oil to Kuwait. They tried to smuggle 40 kilograms of hashish oil worth one and a half million dinars.

The arrests of the accused are part of the Home Ministry’s ongoing efforts to arrest drug traffickers and dealers. The Coast Guard’s Maritime Security Division seized the boat carrying the drugs.

There were five people in the boat. The officials who received information about drug trafficking arrested the accused. The accused pleaded guilty. They have been handed over to the public prosecution for further legal proceedings.

At the same time, foreigners who infiltrated into Oman with a large amount of drugs were arrested the other day. The Royal Oman Police arrested them from North Bathina. 100 kg of hashish and 25 kg of crystal drug were seized from the accused.

Asian nationals were arrested. They were arrested by the Directorate General for Prevention of Trafficking in Drugs and Narcotic Substances. The Royal Oman Police said in a statement that legal proceedings are being completed against the accused.
