Kuwait.. A sudden development in the case of a man appearing in a video clip assaulting his wife on a public street

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Criminal Court acquitted the citizen accused of assaulting his wife in Jaber Al-Ahmad area weeks ago, and the court accepted the pardon presented by the victim, also acquitting him of the drug abuse charge.

The citizen’s attack on his wife unleashed a whirlwind of angry reactions through the media, after a video showed him beating her on the public road, due to family quarrels, according to what was declared by the then Ministry of the Interior , according to the Al-Qabas newspaper.

Before the court, the lawyer Dr. Saad Al-Hussein, in his capacity as defender of the accused, pleaded the invalidity of the arrest of his client because it occurred in cases other than those provided for by law, and the invalidity of any evidence arising therefrom.
