Neuharlingersiel – Who would know better how to get people excited about training at the Neuharlingersiel Kurverein than the trainees themselves? Against this background, the trainees created the Instagram and Facebook account “azubisvomsiel”. Since 2019, they have been providing insights into their everyday professional lives on social media channels. This puts the trainees in direct contact with potential applicants and everyone who is interested in the North Sea community. With the social media account “azubisvomsiel” of the Neuharlingersiel spa association, the company is applying for the “Prize for Innovative Training” (PIA) from the Nordwest Mediengruppe. PIA once again honors regional companies and institutions that demonstrate an exemplary commitment to vocational training.

With the Prize for Innovative Training (PIA), the Nordwest Mediengruppe once again honors companies and institutions that provide training in East Frisia or the Oldenburger Land and that demonstrate an exemplary commitment to vocational training with new ideas. An independent jury will select the winners in October 2024. Further information and all applications can be found at: www.nwzonline.de/pia

The Neuharlingersiel spa association trains merchants for tourism and leisure as well as specialists for bathing operations. In trainee projects, apprentices are given the opportunity to become creative and bring their own ideas into the company. The trainees from Siel have been running the Instagram and Facebook accounts for five years and post news from the spa association on the North Sea coast every week. In addition to everyday training, they also show upcoming events and things to see from Neuharlingersiel. According to the spa association, this is intended to create a forum for exchange and to attract people to the place on the North Sea coast, but also to the training opportunities in the company. The apprentices also created a sticker with a QR code as a promotional gift, which directs interested parties directly to the social media account “azubisvomsiel”.
