Kurucam six points and the same loss of notes against the champion; Mitchell’s 57 points do not save the Jazz from failure in the first playoff game

The Nets conceded last season’s champion, the Raptors, in the tournament tournament in Orlando with 110: 134 (20:37, 31:36, 35:22, 24:39).

In the quarterfinals series of the Eastern Conference, up to four victories, the “Nets” are driven by 0-1.

Kurucs spent 16 minutes and 15 seconds on the court, sending three of the four two-point shots in the basket and not hitting two long shots.

At the expense of Cēsis there are also six rebounds, two assists, two errors and six remarks. “Nets” with him on the field let in 16 points more than threw.

New York’s 26-point scorer was Timothy Luvavu-Cabaro, 19 points for Joe Harris, 15 points and 12 rebounds for Jeret Elen, and 15 points and 15 assists for Kerry Levert.

In the Toronto team, Fred Vanvlit stood out with 30 points and 11 assists, Sergei Ibaka added 22 points, and Pascal Sjakam had 18 points and 11 balls under the baskets.

Kurucs started the match in the starting five as a power striker and it was he who scored the first “Nets” points, hitting the ball in the basket from above in the second minute (2: 3). A few minutes later he reached 6:10, but the Raptors quickly retreated and were already in the lead with a 26-point handicap at the start of the second quarter.

Next time, the Latvian conquered the basket at the beginning of the fourth quarter, when after playing “Nets” he reached 90:99. However, in the third minute of the quarter, he came to the sixth note and left the field.

The Raptors responded to Kurucs’ accurate shot with two long shots and returned to safe lead, further increasing their lead to the final whistle.

The second game in the series will take place on Wednesday.

Last year, Kurucs went to the field in four playoff games, in which he scored 6.3 points in an average of 17 minutes and won 5.0 balls under the baskets.

NBA teams played eight matches before the playoffs to determine the final place distribution before the playoffs began. The Nets took seventh position at the Eastern Conference, while the Raptors were second.

In the other game, Donovan Mitchell stood out with 57 points on Monday in the first game of the National Basketball Association (NBA) elimination tournament, but that was not enough to win the Utah Jazz.

In the Jazz tournament in Orlando with 125: 135 (25:31, 27:28, 31:19, 32:37, 10:20), the Denver Nuggets gave up, leading to four wins in the Western Conference quarter-finals series with 1- 0.

After Mike Conley walked away from the Orlando bubble, Mitchell took on the role of Jazz leader even more strongly, scoring 57 points, adding nine rebounds and seven assists. Only Michael Jordan (63 points in 1986) and Elgin Baylor (61 points in 1961) scored more points for him in the play-off matches.

Twenty years ago, Jazz legend Carl Melon scored 50 points in one of the playoffs.

The Nuggets team was won by Jamal Murray, who scored 36 points, ten of them in extra time, and awarded nine assists. Meanwhile, Nikol Jokitch had 29 points and ten rebounds.

In turn, at the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics with 109: 101 (25:26, 30:23, 20:30, 34:22) prevailed over the Philadelphia 76ers, reaching 1-0 in the series.

The joys of victory were overshadowed by Gordon Hayward’s injury – a basketball player who was seriously injured three years ago this time with a sprained ankle.

The Celtics’ top scorer with 32 points and 13 rebounds was Jason Titley, while Jane Brown scored 29 points. Joels Embīds scored 26 points and 16 balls under the baskets in the “76ers” team.

It has already been reported that Latvian basketball player Kristaps Porziņģis scored 14 points in the first match of the elimination tournament on Monday and was only expelled from the hall while his Dallas “Mavericks” suffered a loss.

The Mavericks conceded in the first game of the Orlando tournament with a score of 110: 118 (38:34, 31:32, 13:21, 28:31) in the Los Angeles CIippers and took the 0-1 lead to four wins in the Western Conference quarter-finals.

In the Mavericks, another play-off debuter, Luka Dončič, stood out with 42 points, seven rebounds and nine assists, but 18 points were in Tim Harvard’s junior account. On Monday, Dončič broke the record of the NBA debut game with 42 points, correcting what Karim Abduljabar once had with six points.

Opponents with 29 points and 12 balls under the baskets stood out for Kavai Lenard, 27 points for Paul George, 19 points for Markus Morris.
