On Saturday, October 12, the 6th Congress of Law and Justice took place in Przysucha. During the meeting, the merger of Sovereign Poland with PiS was confirmed. Jacek Kurski took part in the event.
Since December 2023, when he was dismissed from the World Bank, he has not officially held any position. Also in PiS, to which he joined again. In a conversation with journalists, he talked about his political future.
— This is not an electoral congress, but the second edition of the congress from 2021, when I was not a member of PiS. I am a guest here at the special invitation of President Jarosław Kaczyński and in the good spirit of this consolidation – explained Kurski.
In his opinion, the right wing in Poland needs “a certain machine of narrative effectiveness.” — Tusk’s entire success was based on fraud and people being tired of eight years of rule (PiS – ed.), naturally looking for something refreshing. People fell for Tusk’s false narrative, people need a true narrative – commented the former president of TVP.
Kurski suggested that during the PiS rule “Poles had a choice” and there was no propaganda on public television under his leadership. — There were two large camps – the conservative United Right and the liberal-left around Tusk – which had their own opportunities to influence and communicate with society. This is not the case today. Tusk needs a monopoly to achieve his success. Only he can drown out the lies that allowed him to achieve victory, he said.
Kurski also chose a role for himself that he could play in the new PiS. – I see myself in not only the party structures as an advisor to the narrative that must be opposed to the flood of lies by Tusk, who has not kept any of his election promises – he said.
The former president of TVP declared that he “forgets” all the bad words and emotions towards him from Zbigniew Ziobro and other politicians associated with PiS Sovereign Poland.
