Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto Will Be Assistant for Italian Club

Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto claims to be assistant coach of Italian club CF As. Currently a former striker Indonesian National team waiting for a visa to go to Italy.

FC Como is a club taken by Indonesian company Djarum Group in 2019. There are Indonesian connections that made Kurniawan finally involved in FC Como.

The club, which has just been promoted to Serie B from Serie C, has invited Kurniawan before. But at that time Kurniawan already had a job as a coach for another club in Malaysia.

“I want to send a visa to Italy. But, because of Omicron, the Italian government did not issue a visa. Here I am still waiting,” said Kurniawan in the Accuracy TV Youtube podcast.

“This is Como, a program with Garuda Select, right. So I made a visa to the UK first while waiting from Italy. Instead of doing nothing, I went seconded to the UK first,” he added.

It is not known how long Kurniawan will spend his time in the UK while waiting for his Italian visa to be issued. Meanwhile, Garuda Select is also covered by the Djarum Group such as FC Como.

Italy is actually not a foreign country for Kurniawan. As is known, Kurniawan is one of the players who once studied in Negeri Pizza with Indonesia Primavera in the 90s.

“I can’t imagine being an assistant coach there, I never had a dream either. Last year when Como was promoted to Serie B, I was contacted by Mr. Nirwan (Bakrie),” said Kurniawan.

“At that time, Mr. Nirwan said, ‘I want to have a coach from Indonesia’. But I said, I am still under contract with Sabah FC. If I am lucky, my contract with Sabah FC expires in December 2021. Maybe this is the way. I will communicate again and they still accept me,” said the skinny.
