For its next edition, the Kuri Festival hopes to dazzle anime lovers with a large-format concert. The appointment will be on December 16 and 17 at the Antigua Aduana, in San José.
This year, the event organized by Nirvana Producciones, will present the show Divas del Anime. It is a great concert with the artists Gaby Vega, Marisa de Lille, Maggie Vera and Jade, who will be joined by the Costa Rican band Zukia.
Gaby Vega, recognized as the voice behind songs such as Inuyasha and Shaman King, Hamtaro, Pokémon and Fairy Tail, among others, aims to transport the audience through the nostalgia of the openings and endings of series that marked the childhood of many.
Marisa de Lille, for her part, will present songs from series such as Digimon, Dragon Ball, Dr. Slump, and Sailor Moon, among others.
The Mexican María de Jesús Terán, better known by her stage name Jade, will sing songs from the Pokémon and Ranma ½ series.
Finally, the concert will be complemented by Maggie Vera, the voice behind songs that appear in series such as Doraemon, Dragon Quest and Hamtaro, among others.
These artists will perform in a special concert on December 17, on the main stage of the Kuri Fest. This stage will be located in the heart of the brick warehouse of the Old Customs House. The time of the presentation will be announced in the coming days.
Additionally, throughout the event, guests will be available to meet fans, as official guests of the event. More international guests for the event are expected to be announced soon.
About the Kuri Festival
The Kuri Festival has established itself in our country as a promoter of Japanese cultural manifestations such as cosplay, manga drawing, video games, choreography, dances, talks, workshops, karaoke of anime themes, traditional games, exhibitions, contests, musical presentations and tournaments.
For this new edition, Nirvana Producciones (company in charge of the organization) announced that there will be an area of special stands to exhibit Japanese gastronomy, as well as a merchandise store and an area for workshops.
The cost of tickets is ¢6,200 per day and can be obtained on the website kurifest.nirvana-cr.com. They can also be obtained on the day of the festival, at the Antigua Aduana box office, in San José.
The event is suitable for all audiences and has been in our country for twelve editions, always taking place in the month of December.
