Kulmbach is looking for the sports stars of 2023. Mayor Ingo Lehmann is looking forward to honoring the best and awarding our hometown sports medals in gold, silver and bronze. For this he asks for suggestions for the honors.
Please only register athletes who have taken part in official championships.
Bronze 2nd + 3rd place in a Bavarian championship
4th – 6th place in a German championship
Silver 2nd + 3rd place at a German championship
1st place Bavarian championship
Gold German Champion
or higher sporting honors
Important NOTE:
An award will only be given if at least 10 participants were at the start in the respective competition or in the relevant age group!
According to the honoring statute of the city of Kulmbach, athletes who have already received the corresponding award at an earlier point in time cannot be honored again. However, we would be happy to hear from you.
The sports clubs in question are currently being contacted by the city. However, athletes who do not belong to any club or are not organized but are registered with their main residence in Kulmbach should also be appropriately awarded.
Successful athletes who are eligible for an award are asked to report to the General Cultural Administration, Culture and Sports Promotion of the city of Kulmbach by June 16th, 2022.
