Dear friends of our theater,
the “5 minute culture on the phone” (Video contribution HERE) brought cultural workers from the region and hopefully also the audience happy moments. This offer continues. So pick up the phone and dial 707 150! All contributors are genuinely happy to give you a call.
On the 4th Advent there was a service in the Petrikirche in which people from the cultural scene took over the part that is usually occupied by the sermon. You can watch and listen to: Kulturgottesdienst.
Otherwise, Georg Mädl and I rehearse hard on “Der Kredit”. The start is planned for the end of January, but it could of course be later. But at some point it will continue.
Finally.
In 2020 we switched sides. I’ve been a spectator since March and the people around me create culture. They practice the art of looking for words and images to express their thoughts. You have to have made it yourself and that’s not that easy, is it? After all, to the best of their knowledge and understanding, most have contributed some aspect. It is very impressive how diverse (up to completely controversial) and productive (ad nauseam) one and the same topic was dealt with.
In the end, this cultural event will probably be like the theater. You leave it agitated, inspired, depressed, you finally understand the world and want to change it and yourself. When normality returns the next day – as torturously wrong as it may be – everything is forgotten.
That is why I would like to wish you a Christmas party and the end of the year full of reflection and calm. May you walk calmly into the New Year.
