Turkey believes that the signing of the grain deal can lead Ukraine and Russia to a dialogue. In this way, Ankara is trying to build on the success of the Black Sea export deal.

“This is simply Turkey’s desire to build on success in creating a grain corridor that has not yet been launched, although Ukraine is doing everything to make it work. Therefore, they certainly strive for negotiations,” the minister stressed.
At the same time, he noted that the Russian side does not show a sincere desire to resume the negotiation process.
