Ukrainian experts have analyzed the entire regulatory framework of Germany and have not found any legal prohibitions, the minister assured.
Germany has no legal prohibitions on the supply of weapons to Ukraine. About this said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba at a briefing on Wednesday, February 9.
According to him, this topic was actively discussed during negotiations with German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock.
“I honestly said: Annalena, your position is unfair. We have analyzed your entire regulatory framework, and there are no legal prohibitions on the supply of weapons to Ukraine. This is a political decision. If this is a purely political decision, then it can be at least partially modified. With this, Annalena went back,” Kuleba said.
Recall that this week the head of German diplomacy came to Ukraine for the second time in a month. Annalena Burbok stated that The EU has prepared sanctions against Russia and he will do everything to prevent an attack on Ukraine.
As you know, the German government, unlike the authorities of other NATO countries, refuses to supply weapons to Ukraine. Berlin’s position provokes sharp criticism not only in Kiev, but also in Poland, the Baltic countries and a number of other states.
The media also published list of weapons requested by Ukraine from Germany.
