The EMA is expected to issue an opinion on this in early March.
‘No medical reasons’
The Dutch Health Council recently advised the cabinet that there are no medical reasons to boost healthy young people under the age of 18. They hardly get sick from a corona infection anyway, especially not if they are fully vaccinated.

Yet the call to make boosting possible for them also comes from many quarters, because many countries keep their borders closed to those who have not been boosted. Many families cannot go on holiday because of this, because in the Netherlands it is still impossible for young people under 18 to get a third shot, unless they have a serious immune disorder.
