However, this does not dissuade the music enthusiasts from their passion. They present their new songs and videos online, invite you to streaming concerts – and even come together virtually for major projects. Drummer Wolfgang Schwarz, for example, started the “Lockdown Project” about a year ago. The resulting music videos can be seen on Youtube, the third has just been released.

After “Baby Love” by Mother’s Finest and “Runaway” by Bruno Mars there is now a video for “Diggin on James Brown” by Tower of Power. A total of eleven musicians took part in the third part. Many of the performers were once ensemble members of “Christmas on the Rocks”, the Christmas concert series that until 2013 in Aichach excited almost 2000 people per weekend. Other musicians from the region have joined.

Drummer Wolfgang Schwarz provided the basic rhythm of the song on the drums. The result was a reference version to which the other musicians played and sang. Schwarz invited his music-loving colleagues individually to the “Blackwolf Studio Kühbach” in compliance with the Corona regulations and recorded the respective audio and video sequences with them. The result is a six-minute long music video. At the time of the recording, the other musicians didn’t know who they were ultimately playing with in the video; Schwarz left that open as a surprise.

“This is how combinations of musicians came about that didn’t exist before. Who would have thought that one day musicians from the German rock band Adrenalin would play together with musicians from funk bands like Manufuncture?”, Explains Schwarz. In addition, “generations would be united”. The videos of the “Lockdown Project” are available on Wolfgang Schwarz’s YouTube channel. SZ
