Kudu Police and Babinkamtibmas Collaborate to Eradicate Mosquito Nests and Prevent Dengue Fever Outbreak in Katemas Village

Kudu Police – Jombang Police – Babinkamtibmas Katemas Village Aipda Istat Wahyudi participated in helping village officials and Health Officers from the Kudu Health Center eradicate mosquito nests (PSN) in the target villages, Saturday (20-10-2023).

While carrying out PSN activities in Katemas Village, Aipda Istat Wahyudi conveyed to the residents of the assisted villages and village officials to always maintain the cleanliness of the environment ahead of the rainy season with the aim and purpose of ensuring that Katemas village residents avoid flooding and dengue fever outbreaks.

Apart from that, Aipda Istat Wahyudi “encourages residents to clean their living environment, starting from cleaning gutters from rubbish so they don’t get clogged when it rains and burying used items that have the potential to become mosquito nests.” Said Aipda Istat Wahyudi.

In another place, when confirmed by the Public Relations Officer, Kudu Police Chief, AKP Agus Edy Wijaya, he said, “By having Babinkamtibmas carry out village visits, more and more people will be educated about keeping the environment clean in anticipating an outbreak of dengue fever during the rainy season.” Concluded the Police Chief.
