Kucherov became the third player in the history of “Tampa” in the scoring series
Tampa Bay Lightning Russian forward Nikita Kucherov became the third player in the team’s history to score twice in one season in 11 or more games in a row.

The Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Colorado Avalanche in a shootout game in the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL). The meeting ended with the score 4:3.
At Colorado, goals were scored by Artturi Lehkonen (1), Nathan McKinnon (27) and Denis Malgin (43). The Russian striker Valery Nichushkin also scored an assist. Russian striker Nikita Kucherov (34), Anthony Cirelli (41) and Russian Vladislav Namestnikov (45) scored among the winners, Steven Stamkos converted the winning bullet.
Three Russians became goaltenders of the week in the NHL
Kucherov scored in the 11th match in a row and was recognized as the second star of the meeting. This was the Russian’s second 11-match scoring streak of the season, having previously scored from October 15 to November 8.
Kucherov became the third player in Tampa history to score in 11 or more straight games twice in a single season, joining teammates Steven Stamkos (2022/23) and Martin San Louis (2006/07 and 2009/10).
In total this season, the Russian striker scored 78 points, scoring 21 goals and giving 57 assists.
Also, Tampa goalkeeper Vasilevsky made 43 saves out of 46 shots in this match. In 40 matches of the current season, the Russian goalkeeper saves 92.0% of shots with a reliability coefficient of 2.53.
