After winning the Stanley Cup last week, the Tampa Bay Lightning all-star forward was sorely lacking in class in his post-game interview. In paunch, he had allowed himself to insult the Montreal fans because of their enthusiasm for their first victory in the fourth game. But here he adds as he posts on Instagram a photo of himself with the Stanley Cup and the Super Bowl trophy. So far, everything is fine, but he wears a sweater with it written on it « $18M over the cap ».
The jersey refers to the fact that the Lightning roster in the final series had a payroll of 18 million above the cap due to numerous injuries during the season. Let’s say Kucherov didn’t make more friends with this post.
