[충청투데이 이정훈 기자] From the 1st, Korea Railroad (KORAIL) will provide train ticket reservation services such as KTX on Naver and Kakao T apps.
According to the Korea Railroad on the 31st, the ticket reservation service, which had been provided by the mobile app Korail Talk, was expanded to Naver, Naver Map, and Kakao T apps.
Naver or Kakao T members can purchase tickets directly from the app even if they are not railroad members or do not have the mobile app Korail Talk.
If you enter a keyword related to a train ticket such as’KTX’ or’Train ticket reservation’ in the search bar of the Naver app, the ticket reservation screen appears.
You can set the departure/arrival station, check the train timetable, and select a seat to pay. Tickets issued can be checked in the’My Reservation’ menu of the Naver app.
In the Kakao Talk app, you can go to the ticket reservation screen of the Kakao T app through the’Korail Notification Talk’ channel. We are also preparing a service to reserve tickets directly from KakaoTalk.
Korea Railroad President Son Byeong-seok said, “We will enhance the convenience of railroad users and continue to expand non-face-to-face online services by strengthening collaboration with platforms used by many people like Naver and Kakao.”
