KTM Launches 2024 Models of 125 and 390 Duke: Is the PR Department Keeping Up?

This is how the 2024 models of the 125 and 390 Duke will be launched. Nothing wrong with the bikes, but is this really how the KTM PR department wants users to behave in 2024???

KTM has launched the 2024 models of the 125 and 390 Duke and the press release is unusually bajas, even for KTM: There is talk of “No bullshit stance” and this is accompanied by pictures showing driving behavior that could have been tough 30 years ago. But there is nothing wrong with the bikes – they are new models with a number of changes from last year.

What meets the eye are new graphics and paint where the decals are placed safely under several layers of clear coat. The body parts are also new and to make it easy to tell the models apart, the 125 Duke has smaller spoilers on the tank than the 390. On the 390, the spoilers also have a double function as air intakes.

TFT display and LED light are of course in place. Both models have a new metal tank. The frame and rear frame are new and provide a lower seat height. The main frame is, of course, steel tube trusses, but the 390 has a cast aluminum rear frame. Other: New wheels, new fork bridges, new and slightly curved swing fork and new position of the shock absorber which makes room for a new silencer and position of the airbox. Now all that is needed is for the PR department to also keep up with the times…
