KSC U19 Suffers Bitter Defeat against Bayern Munich with “Maximum Participation” of their Juniors

Karlsruhe (mia). “It’s very bitter,” said KSC U19 coach Ralf Kettemann after the 3: 4 (0: 4) at Bayern Munich. Not only the defeat of the A-Juniors of the Karlsruher SC annoyed him, but also that two of the goals were scored with “maximum participation” of the KSC juniors.

“Being 4-0 down at half-time was a big problem that we couldn’t turn around completely. We concede two goals. It’s a bit of a shame because there are very good footballers on the other side and they should have scored their goals hard.”

by Adin Licina (16th) and Adam Aznou Ben Cheikh (21st) put Bayern ahead. Shortly before half-time, Licina (42′) and Javier Fernandez Gonzales (44′) made it 4-0 again. “We had decent approaches in the first half. We won the second half 3-0 with a brave and more intense appearance. This is a small step forward”, despite the defeat. Louey Ben Farhat (66th) and Firat Alpsoy (84th FE, 85th) scored for KSC. “We have to see that we reduce the goals conceded,” demands Kettemann.
