The fans of Karlsruher SC advertised the position as KSC President. Team player and communication talent should be the new head of the Karlsruhe SC. But the necessary backbone is also in demand: Even if he is held responsible for “warm beer and cold sausages”, the new president should not buckle.
After Ingo Wellenreuther’s resignation, the position of KSC President is currently vacant. In order to fill the position again, the members of the KSC must vote for a successor with a majority.
But before it comes to the vote, it is important to find suitable candidates for the post. A corresponding job advertisement can be found on the homepage of the member’s initiative “Der Neue KSC”.
The required profile of the applicants is as follows:
- You’re a KSC fan and football crazy!
- You have been a KSC member for at least 3 years, but “undamaged by club policy”
- You enjoy being lifted up into the sky by fans and members in the press and endure being blamed for missed penalties, warm beer and cold sausages, relegations, etc.
- You have management experience that you can bring to KSC!
- You are a communication talent
- You manage to get the CEOs a million or two “out of the cross” and a few minutes later you can riot with Ronny and Hubi over the surely unjustified penalty against us
- You are a team player and financially independent!
- Then you are our man! Or our wife!
But is such a serious request? “The job advertisement of the member initiative is rather a gag,” the KSC told ka-news.de. The official announcement can be found in a letter of membership from May 20.
Candidates must have three years of membership
It states: “Applicants for the office of president have had to be members of the association for at least three years without interruption and should also have a personality who provides a means of fulfilling the tasks that the statutes have to fulfill for the presidium. Integrity of the applicant and the ability to behave appropriately in public are required. “
Those who feel called to run the KSC in the coming years may send their application to the election committee of the Karlsruhe Sport Club Mhlburg-Phnix, Adenauerring 17, 76131 Karlsruhe, to the attention of Mr. Sathia Lorenz. The application letter should include a resume and a photo.
The New KSC is a member initiative that was formed in 2000 as a constructive and critical group of KSC members. In the following years (tenths), they said that they were repeatedly committed to “a transparent and member-oriented association”. The “current emergency situation” of the association was taken as an opportunity to revive the new KSC.
