Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman paid a working visit to the Kodam Jaya Headquarters, Cililitan, East Jakarta, this morning. During his visit, Dudung explained the plan to transfer soldiers TNI to the region of origin.
“I have ordered the military commanders, people who have moved from Ambon, Sulawesi and Papua to come back Let’s go there again,” said Dudung in his remarks at the Kodam Jaya, Cililitan, East Jakarta, Monday (14/3/2022).
“So they can gather with their families. Likewise for those from Papua, I moved them back,” he added.
Dudung said this was done as an effort to ensure the welfare of members of the Indonesian Army. He also revealed the condition that TNI soldiers at the Jaya Regional Military Command who came from regions had to contract.
“At Kodam Jaya it is the non-commissioned and enlisted ones rented. contract That’s Rp. 1.5 million, they are also definitely not the people who own it. The 1.5 boarding house here is just a bed justonly for contract I just haven’t eaten yet,” he said.
In addition, Dudung said, in the near future, TNI AD soldiers will get four suits, one of which is a new uniform created by the TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa.
“Then in relation to welfare in the Army, in the future all soldiers will get four sets of PDL clothes,” said Dudung.
“First, I became the Army Chief of Staff, I immediately chat soldier, there is a soldier who buys clothes. Around Rp. 750 thousand if clothes are Rp. 400 thousand, helmet just buy. Imagine where they Rp 1.7 million from. At that time, confirm that you convey to Aslog how many people Rp. 750 thousand you replace, the Army must replace it, finally replace it,” he said.
Furthermore, in the next two months, the soldiers will also get soldiers’ milk. “Powdered milk is soldier’s milk. The same applies, 400 grams of milk is okay, maybe the milk of today’s children is not enough. At least there is a form of concern from the AD,” said Dudung.
He also mentioned that it was better than buying the TNI AD defense equipment. Because, he said, most purchases of defense equipment override its function.
“I said if you want to buy defense equipment, it’s a waste of money just, better for soldiers only. Sometimes the defense equipment that AD buys has more implants than its function,” he concluded.
