You can make a real “Kruzak” from the “Deshman” Indian SUV.
Toyota has already discontinued the FJ Cruiser SUV, but many have come to love the model. They both try to create an SUV as they buy on the “secondary housing” with their own hands.
A striking example was the Indian SUV Mahindra MM550, which the local atelier WS Design skillfully remade into the Toyota FJ Cruiser.
The Indian “state employee” is equipped with a powerful 3.0-liter diesel engine Toyota 1KZ-TE, which migrated from under the hood of Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
The automatic transmission is also “borrowed”, but this time from Toyota Fortuner. In fact, only the frame body and chassis remained from the Mahindra MM550.
Not without a catch. The Mahindra MM550 platform does not allow making an all-wheel drive SUV, so torque is transmitted only to the front wheels.
But this is quite enough. “Almost” Toyota FJ Cruiser is equipped with huge 33-inch wheels, a reinforced bumper, as well as tires for offroad.
In terms of appearance, the Toyota FJ Cruiser from the Mahindra MM550 is also good – the tuners chose a pleasant combination of colors, and also did not forget about the little things, such as a spare tire, leather interior, custom optics with LEDs.
At the moment, Mahindra MM550 is up for sale, but its cost can be found directly from the tuners.
