Steven Kruijswijk has still suffered from the corona virus. The Jumbo-Visma rider had to leave the Giro d’Italia a week ago when he turned out to be infected and initially had no complaints.

Shortly after the news that Kruijswijk was kicked out of the Giro because of his positive corona test, all of Jumbo-Visma decided not to start in the Italian stage race.
For Kruijswijk, his infection meant a new setback in 2020. Earlier, he had to put a line through the Tour de France due to a fracture in his shoulder, sustained in a fall in the Critérium du Dauphiné.
