Thirty-two skiers at the start for only five in the final. Such is the idea of Marius Robayr, the organizer of this slalom event reserved for the best slalomers in the world.
A qualifier took place between those ranked 22nd to 32nd from which only the top two were able to qualify. Then the elimination stages could begin. Six slalomers were eliminated, then six others and finally five to offer a five-man final.

Swedish Kristoffer Jakobsen won ahead of Italians Stefano Gross and Manfred Moelgg.
Clément Noël, the only Frenchman in the running, did not manage to get out of the second round.
