Alexander Kristoff (35) was the strongest in the sprint and won the second stage of Germany around Friday.
Kristoff hence achieved his fifth gain of the time.
Kristoff was at the back of the pitch to the end of the stage but was aided by his teammates to return to the most important pitch.
In the direction of the stop of the dash, the Intermarché rider parked the level of competition and gained just ahead of Frenchman Florian Sénéchal (Fast-Phase).
– It was a tricky closing. It tastes additional when you imagine it in fact ended two kilometers from the conclusion, suggests the Intermarché rider in an interview with the organizer immediately after the phase.
He says the phase was hard because of to the steep climb and crosswind.
– I fell various instances, but Sven (Erik Bystrøm, crew mate) was with me and made me stand up three periods. We arrived back again a kilometer from the conclusion, then I went all the way and managed to earn, suggests Kristoff.
Properly sent in Germany
In early August, Kristoff gained the 1-day race at Circuit Franco-Belge in Belgium and strike again in Germany on Friday.
Kristoff has had several excellent effects from the Tour of Germany.
He also won the 2nd stage in 2019 and in 2021 he received the next and fourth stages of the race.
The 35-calendar year-old was shut to successful the stage on Thursday, but finished in 6th spot.
