“What we do is dangerous. It’s beautiful and fascinating, but first and foremost dangerous, ”agrees Vorobeva. Because filming is not allowed during circus performances, no images have been made of the fall.

First steps
After three operations and months on intensive rehabilitation can Vorobeva hair taking first steps again, which is a miracle. “Doctors and physiotherapists have given me a second life,” says Vorobeva. “We are six months later and she is already hanging in a climbing frame”, says the doctor who operated on Vorobeva, pleasantly surprised.
The circus performer can now walk without any aids. ”I’m doing much better. My life is back to normal, ”says Vorobeva. “I cook, go for walks and eat out. I no longer notice my broken neck. ”

To dream
And secretly, the couple dares to dream of performing together again. “I want to fly again,” says Vorobeva. “I don’t know if it will be possible, but in my head I want it to be like before.”
