She was born on July 31, 1960 in Sofia. He graduated from the Variety Department at the Academy of Music in the class of Stefan Anastasov (1981).

The composer Maria Ganeva (who wrote many of her most popular songs) and Ivan Tenev (her producer, husband and author of almost all the texts) made a great contribution to her confirmation.
Her duet with Orlin Goranov (from 1983), which uses the success formula of Al Bano and Romina Power (“A childhood memory”, “With today’s date”…), gained special popularity.
She presented songs at the Youth Fun Song Contest, the “Songs for the Sea, Burgas and its Working People” contest and the “Golden Orpheus” contest. She participated in the international festival in Sopot, Poland in 1986 (honorary diploma of the Sopot City Hall and music journalists’ award) and was awarded a prize at the 1st festival “Peace, Songs, Tourism” in Tbilisi, USSR in the same year.
She is also the winner of the 1st prize at the international festival “Gaston” – 1986 in Managua, Nicaragua, she has two firsts + audience prize at the competition “Burgas and the Sea”, 2nd prize at the International Festival “Golden Orpheus”, as well as 3rd prize for a duet with Georgi Stanchev, and her duet with Vasil Petrov “As a mark and a letter” won the 2nd prize at the contest “Burgas and the Sea” for the lyrics of Ivan Tenev.
Her concert appearances include international tours in the USSR, GDR, Poland, Romania, Greece, Great Britain (during the European Football Championship – 1996) and France (during the Football World Cup – 1998), Cuba, Nicaragua, Italy, Cyprus , Syria, Algeria, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, USA (1999, 2000, 2000), and in 2004 – a national tour with Vasil Naydenov and Orlin Goranov.
In 2003, she won the 1st prize at the Eurofest in Skopje for the song “Sakam” (music. Valentin Penzov, t. Ivan Tenev, ar. Magomed Gelanievich-Maga) – in a duet with Todor Georgiev. One of her last videos, which she filmed , is on the song “Christmas” – (music. Yavor Kirin, t. Ivan Tenev, ar. Emil Boyadzhiev), in which her friends and colleagues participate – Ann G, Yanis, Yavor Kirin, Vlado from the Safo group, Iskren Petsov, Tsvetomir Anastasov. In 2006, Kristina Dimitrova participated in the Spring Radio Contest in a duet with Orlin Goranov with the song “Million and One” and is preparing new solo songs.
Over the years of her work, composers such as Zornitsa Popova, Nayden Andreev, Maria Ganeva, Maurice Aladjem, Atanas Kosev, Vili Kazasyan and others have worked with her.
They have released albums with Orlin Goranov, with whom they have recorded many duet songs. She participated in VIP Brother 7 in September 2015. In 2021, her album “The Sweet Things” is released.
