Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard admit to tension amid isolation

Trouble in paradise? And by paradise, we mean isolation in your home with your spouse — which isn’t always sunshine and rainbows.

Even America’s sweethearts, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, admit it.

“We’ve gotten on each other’s last nerve these last couple days,” Bell told ET Online in an interview published Thursday. “We’re doing much better now because were laughing about it. But when we were not laughing about it for the first couple of days, that’s the hard spot.”

Earlier in the week, the couple sat next to each other to talk to Katie Couric, and the tension was obvious on camera.

“This is as physically close as we’ve been in a couple of days ’cause we’ve just found each other revolting,” Bell quipped, sharing they had been “at each other’s throats real bad.”

Bell and Shepard have been married since 2013 and share two daughters, Lincoln, 7, and Delta, 5.

Shepard agreed. “We’re getting along good with the kids and we’re getting along good with adults we’re friends with. This has been stressful for momma and dada,” he told Couric.

But it sounds as if the lovebirds are figuring it out with humor and by finding space alone for themselves in the house.

The “Frozen” star also admitted to letting go of a strict, color-coded schedule for her kids, she told ET.
